Scandalous Love

In the same way Hosea was told to show love to his wife even through her unfaithfulness, God still shows His love to us, despite our unfaithfulness. The incarnation is the most scandalous way to say, "I love you."

Hosea 3:1 - The Lord said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress. Love her as the Lordloves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.”

Luke 1:28 - The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”
