Receiving Until It Hurts

Acts 20:35. Dr. Barnette, Dr. Dempsey, and Rev. McLeod perform a skit that challenges us to receive as well as give. Jesus gave the ultimate gift on the cross, and we need to be able to take time to receive the cross in all its depth and meaning and pass it along to others.

Acts 20:35 "In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”
