WELCOME TO THE COLLEGE-Young Adults MINISTRY AT BROOKWOOD BAPTIST CHURCH!
We are so glad you are interested in joining our ministry here at Brookwood Baptist Church. Our mission is simple: “to prepare men and women for service in God’s kingdom through the reading and application of Scripture, building of community, and worshipping of a holy and triune God.” Here at Brookwood, we try to do this in a variety of ways. Anything from Small Group, Sunday School, service opportunities, and even social nights are ways we seek to build community in fun ways.
We’ve heard so many times that “college is the best time of your life.” This is true in so many ways, but perhaps most importantly, college offers some of the most formational opportunities for young Christians. Our hope and prayer is that no matter what church you attend, you will be able to grow in faith and knowledge as you seek to engage both Christ’s calling and vocation.
Young Adulthood looks different than it ever has. Coming out of the community that college provides, young adulthood can often feel lonely and isolated. We hope to create a community rooted in Christ where you can walk alongside those who are experiencing life just like you.

Small Group:
We are starting something new and want you to be a part of it. Join us on Thursdays at the Causey’s home for our weekly small group. This small group will include food, (which is always nice!) a time together in God’s Word and the opportunity to create a new community where grace, love, and Christian service collide. We are throwing the doors open wide to see what God will do in us as we pursue a desire to know Christ in a deeper way and do it together in the spirit of the early 1st-century church that met in homes. We plan for this to be a weekly gathering and the Causeys are graciously offering their home to us each week. Email or for additional info and to get plugged in!

Sunday School:
College and Young Adults are invited to be a part of our Renew Sunday School class. This class is the most intergenerational class we offer at Brookwood where people from various stages of life get together and study Scripture together. The class currently meets under the portico in the back of the church at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday.
