Judy was born and raised in Mississippi, learning all she could about church life and work while growing up as a preacher’s kid. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Auburn University, and she earned a Master’s degree in Christian Education from Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, KY. While at seminary, Judy discovered a passion for building a strong foundation of faith in children. Following seminary she served for 10 years as Minister to Preschoolers and Children in two Alabama churches in Montgomery: Morningview Baptist and then First Baptist.  Judy served 14 years as Pastor for Children & Families at Second Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas. She has been a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School Training Leader for the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, and she was a member of Texas Baptist Women in Ministry. Judy joined the BBC staff in June 2017.

Judy is blessed with a deep passion for helping children grow in their faith. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Kelsey, watching Auburn University football and anything and everything Disney.
